A member of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS), Father Charles Benny assists in active parish duties, coordinates Sunday school, guides the parish youth group, and supports liturgical ministries.
The architecture of Christ the King Church is a majestic blend of Romanesque inspiration and traditional South Indian Catholic grandeur. Rising high above the skyline of Villupuram, the iconic twin bell towers stand as a majestic visual proclamation of faith and a landmark of spiritual refuge.
Inside, the spacious sanctuary centers a beautiful high altar crowned by a solemn statue of Christ the King adorned in red and gold robes with the royal crown, depicting His Sacred Heart. The nave features high arches, allowing soft natural light to pour in, creating a warm golden atmosphere of prayer. The stained glass windows depict the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, providing a serene environment for silent adoration and meditation.
